These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website (https://labelme.io) and any services provided through it (collectively, the "Services"). By using Labelme.io, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are using the Services on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Labelme.io provides software that allows users to annotate images to create data for vision AI, along with related documentation and additional tools to support this process. Access to the software and documentation is granted after a one-time payment, and users log in to access these resources through a paywall.
When using our Services, you agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or using the Services. Use the Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. Not misuse the Services by attempting to gain unauthorized access, introducing malware, or engaging in any activity that disrupts the platform. Be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
To access the Services, you must create an account and complete the payment process. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account.
Our Content: All content, trademarks, and materials on Labelme.io (excluding user-generated content), including software, documentation, and tools, are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. Your Content: By submitting content to our Services (e.g., annotated images, data), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process that content as necessary to provide the Services. You represent that you have the right to provide such content.
We use Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited) as our payment processor for transactions related to the Services. When you make a purchase, Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record, and your transaction is subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Conditions. We are not responsible for Paddle’s performance or policies.
Access to Labelme.io’s software and documentation requires a one-time fee, which will be clearly outlined during the signup process. You agree to pay all applicable charges via Paddle to gain access to the Services. Once payment is completed, you will receive login credentials to access the software and documentation through our paywall.
Refund Policy: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. If you are not satisfied with the Services, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your payment date by contacting us at support@labelme.io. Refunds will be processed through Paddle and credited to your original payment method. After 14 days, all payments are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
You may not:
Use the Services to engage in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activities. Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our software or tools. Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with us. Use the Services to infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights, including rights related to images or data you annotate. Share or distribute your login credentials to allow unauthorized access to the Services.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at our discretion, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or for any other reason. You may also terminate your account by contacting us at support@labelme.io. If you request a refund within the 14-day period, termination will accompany the refund process. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease, but these Terms’ provisions on intellectual property, liability, and disputes will survive.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Labelme.io and its affiliates, officers, and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration in Tokyo, Japan, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any court to protect our rights.
